Mental Health and Addictions Services
How we help
At Vasantham Tamil Wellness Centre, we understand the need for having ethnically specific services for marginalized people. We dedicate our services to make our clients feel understood and to have mental health professionals who have a knowledge of their clients’ background, traditions, and culture. By providing Tamil-speaking counselors, we aim to remove the invisible wall between clients and mental health professionals.
Did you know since 2020, South Asian Canadians were the highest of ethnic minorities to report worsening mental wellbeing?
Did you know 1 in 5 Canadians have a mental illness or an addiction?
